Many Black boys lack consistent access to positive male role models. As a mentor, you help provide:

• Guidance and encouragement

• A listening ear and trusted support

• Accountability and structure

• Real-world perspective

You don’t need to be perfect—just present, committed, and willing to lead by example.

Who Can Volunteer?

We welcome volunteers who are:

• 18 years or older

• Committed to youth development

• Patient, respectful, and reliable

• Willing to complete training and a background check

College students, professionals, and community members are encouraged to apply.

How the Process Works

1. Complete the Volunteer Mentor Application

2. Participate in an interview and screening process

3. Complete mentor training

4. Begin mentoring and making an impact
