Blueprint Boys was founded on the belief that mentorship changes lives. By connecting Black boys with strong, consistent male role models, we help youth develop confidence, discipline, and purpose.
We are committed to creating safe, structured environments where young men can grow, learn, and be heard.
At Blueprint Boys, our mission is rooted in the belief that early guidance and positive role models can change life trajectories. We are committed to mentoring Black boys with integrity, accountability, and care—helping them develop the confidence, character, and skills needed to navigate life with purpose.
Our mission guides every program, partnership, and conversation at Blueprint Boys.
We envision a future where Black boys grow into confident, accountable, and purpose-driven men—equipped with the tools, support, and guidance needed to lead their families, communities, and futures with integrity.
Blueprint Boys was created in response to a persistent gap in consistent, positive mentorship for Black boys during critical developmental years. While families do their best with the resources available, many young men lack access to safe spaces where they can be guided, challenged, and encouraged by adults who understand their experiences.
We exist to provide that space—to intervene early, reinforce positive decision-making, and help young men build a strong foundation for adulthood.
Accountability
We teach young men to take ownership of their choices, actions, and growth.
Integrity
We lead with honesty, consistency, and respect—modeling the behavior we expect.
Guidance
We believe mentorship and exposure matter, especially during adolescence.
Community
We understand that strong men are built through collective effort, not isolation.
Growth
We value progress over perfection and believe every young man has the capacity to improve and succeed.
My name is Ms. Nikki, and I am a North Carolina native with a lifelong passion for youth development and mentorship. I am a graduate of Central Carolina Community College, where I earned my Associate in Arts degree, originally pursuing a path toward teen social work.
Like many people, my journey has not been linear. Life experiences challenged my plans and forced me to take accountability for my choices, reflect, and grow. What once felt like a setback ultimately became a turning point—one that clarified my purpose rather than derailing it.
As a teen, I observed a significant gap in consistent, positive male mentorship within the Black community. These role models were not absent, but often unavailable or stretched thin. Now, as an adult and a parent, I recognize that this gap still exists—and the impact it has on young boys navigating identity, responsibility, and manhood.
Blueprint Boys was created from this awareness and lived experience. The program is rooted in the belief that early guidance, accountability, and exposure can change the trajectory of a young man’s life. My goal is to help create spaces where boys of color feel seen, supported, and equipped to become confident, responsible men.
Outside of this work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, celebrating life’s milestones, and attending live music events. These moments remind me of the importance of balance, joy, and community—values that are woven into everything we do at Blueprint Boys.
